Sometimes I go through the Random User with a Profile Anthem thing on WPD and I see a very diverse amount of music within these profiles. Typically I can imagine most people who are into black metal culture have seen gore here and there; but it made me curious on what a gore watcher who looks at obscene content listens to regularly. I had seen some mini discussions in my psychology class this year in college and quite a few people believed that the genre of music you listen to explains your personality or traits about yourself. This could hold some truth, people who listen to country are obviously going to be perceived a certain way, but what would you assume a gore watcher listens to? Maybe something dark like the content they view? Elliot Rodger, the perpetrator in the Isla Vista shooting, listened to lots of 1990-2000's music. The music he enjoyed had romantic and sentimental undertones. Rather than Adam Lanza, the perpetrator in the Sandy Hook shooting, who had listened to Cannibal Corpse on occasion mixed in with some DDR songs. I feel like music taste for people who commit crimes/view them are unpredictable and diverse. The notion that music can expose you as a person can be accurate in rare cases but I don't believe its credible. That being said, what do you guys listen to? Do you believe your music taste affects your personality and others? feel free to share your opinions! I'm so curious :pppp

I'm going to assume that the majority of yall already know about the new Social and Music flairs so any downvotes this post receives I'm just going to assume that you don't like Metallica and therefor you are gay, thank you.

The song is called “Ótta”, which means ”fear” in Icelandic. I’m singing, and playing everything in this recording except for drums, and the whole song was completely live-tracked in a single take using four separate loop pedals — (I would stomp the first pedal to open the loop, play the backbone track, stomp the pedal again to close the loop, grab the next instrument beside me, stomp the 2nd pedal while the first track is playing back through the monitors, play the next part, stomp it again close that loop, grab the next instrument, and so on, while our drummer kept time — twelve instruments, in total — all while singing in Icelandic at the same time, haha).. OH! And this was our first and only take. I did the artwork, too.

{Also, I forgot to mention that the 12-string acoustic guitar track was played on the same guitar that John Denver used to record “Take Me Home Country Roads”, which he gave to me in 1993 when I was 7 years old (he was a friend of the family). So yeaap, same guitar.}

This song will be on our new album, entitled ‘LIVING WITH FEAR’, and it’ll be out on physical media and all digital platforms on March 17th.
